Jan 1874 Began publishing the magazine "Little Messenger of the Sacred Heart of Jesus".
08 Sept 1875 Opened the Mission House in Steyl , Netherlands.
02 Mar 1879 Sent out the first missionaries to China.

08 Dec 1896 Founded the cloistered sisters "Servants of the Holy Spirit of Perpetual Adoration" (SSpS AP)
25 Jan 1900 Papal approbation for "Society of the Divine Word".
28 Oct 1908 Approved the opening of a Mission House in U.S.A. (Techny)
15 Jan 1909 Died in Steyl.
19 Oct 1975 Beatified together with Joseph Freinademetz, first SVD missionary to China.
05 Oct 2003 Canonized together with Joseph Freinademetz, first SVD missionary to China.
